Eduardo Coutinho (1933-2014) enjoyed an extraordinary career in the Brazilian film industry, mainly as a documentarist. He was born in São Paulo, Brazil. He is a contemporary of many Cinema Novo filmmakers, friend and colleague of several of them, but he only became a director at the beginning of the 1980s, almost at the age of fifty, in a context entirely different from that of Brazil in the 1960s. He also studied law, theatre and journalism, in which he worked for many years. He is the author of articles on the Brazilian film industry published in newspapers and magazines. His first contact with the film world was at a seminar in 1954, but from then until 1957 he was the editor of Visão magazine and later decided to take up film studies at the prestigious Institute for Advanced Cinematographic Studies (IDHEC) in Paris. He worked on the script or in the production of major films directed by Leon Hirzsman (A Falecida, Garota de Ipanema), Eduardo Escorel (Lição de Amor), Bruno Barreto (Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands) and Zelito Viana (Os Condenados). In 1975, Coutinho joined the Globo Repórter team, where he remained for nine years, and, according to its director, it was an important learning curve that convinced him to move into documentary films. In spite of censorship, the team (made up of Paulo Gil Soares, João Batista de Andrade, Jorge Bodansky, and Oswaldo Caldeira, among others) managed to go in-depth into a number of topics. Coutinho’s documentaries from this period include Seis Dias em Ouricuri (on the drought and the hard labour in the outback), O Pistoleiro de Serra Talhada (on banditry in the north-east), O Imperador do Sertão (on Colonel Teodorico Bezerra) and O Menino de Brodósqui (on the painter, Cândido Portinari).

"Fabulosul destin al lui Toma Cuzin" (2008), regia Paul Negoescu și Vlad Trandafir. În anul 2009 a fost Niculina, servitoare în casa Belciugesco din serialul de televiziune "Aniela". Cea mai recentă apariție este cea din telenovela "Iubire și onoare" în rolul Silviei, soția româncă a doctorului arab Rashid Hammoud, interpretat de Denis Ștefan.

Rubem Fonseca (born May 11, 1925) is a Brazilian writer. He was born in Juiz de Fora, in the state of Minas Gerais, but he has lived most of his life in Rio de Janeiro. In 1952, he started his career as a low-level cop and, later became a police commissioner, one of the highest ranks in the civil police of Brazil. Following the steps of American novelist Thomas Pynchon, a close friend of Fonseca, he refuses to give interviews and feels strongly about maintaining his privacy. İlker Kaan Kaleli (born 11 May 1984) is a Turkish actor best known for his role in Poyraz Karayel. He studied acting in London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) acting school. He also received acting lessons in the studio collectors of Şahika Tekand. He played in popular series Son, Kayıp Şehir and Kayıp respectively. In 2014, he appeared in the film Silsile. From 2015 to 2017, Kaleli played the leading character in Poyraz Karayel, for which he received a Golden Butterfly Award as best actor in 2016.

Born to Chinese immigrant parents, Diane Lee Hsu was a classically trained pianist from age 6 who was performing with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra by age 17. While studying modern dance in college (she'd graduate with a degree in such from the University of Utah), Diane began modeling, which led to a tryout for Playboy Magazine. Under the name Diana Lee, she'd become only the third Playmate on Asian descent after being chosen to become the magazine's Playmate of the Month in May 1988. Soon after, film and TV roles followed. Hsu made her film debut in the James bond film License to Kill (1989), where she played Hong Kong narcotics agent Loti and was also one of the silhouette models in the opening title sequence. She'd go on to other film roles, played a semi-recurring role on the soap opera The Young and the Restless, had guest spots on shows like Family Matters and The West Wing and has done voice work for video games like Everquest II and Prototype.
